Transit Ambassadors&nbsp; provide exceptional customer service, assisting riders with navigation, and helping create a safe and welcoming transit experience throughout the Greater Boston area.<br> 

<br>This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with the public, solving problems, and being active throughout their workday.<br> 

Schedule

<br><strong>AM Shift:</strong> 6:00 AM â 2:00 PM<br>
<strong>PM Shift:</strong> 2:00 PM â 12:00 AM<br> 

<br>Candidates must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.<br> 

Responsibilities

<ul>

&#9;<br>Greet and engage riders in stations, platforms, entrances, and public areas.<br> 
&#9;

&#9;<br>Assist passengers with transit navigation, fare payment options, schedules, and directions.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a positive and professional presence.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Assist passengers requiring accessibility accommodations, including deploying bridge plates when needed.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Monitor station areas and report safety concerns, suspicious activity, or emergencies through established communication channels.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Serve as a visible presence to help promote a safe, welcoming, and orderly transit environment.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Respond appropriately to emergencies by following established procedures and notifying Transit Police or emergency personnel.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Accurately document activities using company-issued mobile devices, radios, and reporting systems.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Maintain knowledge of MBTA routes, schedules, service updates, and policies.<br> 
&#9;

Qualifications

<ul>
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>High School Diploma or GED required.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Minimum of one year of customer service, hospitality, retail, public-facing, or related experience.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Ability to remain calm, professional, and helpful in fast-paced environments.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic technology for reporting purposes.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Must be at least 18 years of age.<br> 
&#9;
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana testing.<br>

Physical Requirements

<br>We are seeking a compassionate and organized Placement Specialist to help families experiencing homelessness secure stable housing and access community resources. This role combines housing search assistance, case management, client advocacy, and community outreach.<br> 

Responsibilities

&#9;</li>
&#9;<li>
&#9;<br>Assist clients with housing searches, applications, landlord communication, and apartment viewings<br>

&#9;</li>

&#9;<br>Help clients overcome barriers to housing, including credit, CORI, and financial challenges<br>

            <description><![CDATA[<br>We are seeking Residential Counselor/ Housing Case Managers to work for a well-known human services organization in Boston, MA.<br>

Pay rate: $23.48<br> 

<br>JOB DESCRIPTION:<br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Scattered Site Housing (SSH) provides comprehensive, intensive case management support to chronically homeless individuals with histories of substance abuse and mental illness in housing using the Housing First model promoting long-term stability in housing and the end of homelessness in Boston.
&#9;<li>SSH Case Managers work as part of an intensive case management team serving tenants who may be experiencing untreated mental illness, active drug and alcohol addiction, and other major health challenges.
&#9;<li>SSH Case Managers use a harm-reduction, trauma-informed approach to working with participants, including the utilization of Stages of Change Theory and Motivational Interviewing techniques.
&#9;<li>SSH Case Managers are responsible for a specific caseload of tenants, and also for collaborating with other SSH staff on program-wide efforts to stabilize and promote the individual growth of all SSH tenants.
&#9;<li>Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting tenants with all required program documentation; assisting tenants with obtaining benefits, healthcare, educational opportunities, employment opportunities, and legal aid; supporting the development of tenantsâ activities of daily living skills and creating individual service plans with tenants, maintaining all necessary documentation; monitoring and reporting maintenance needs in apartments, and supporting timely program fee collection from tenants.

<br>REQUIREMENTS:<br> 

<br>EDUCATION/TRAINING:<br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>High School diploma or GED
&#9;<li>Strong written communication skills
&#9;<li>Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
&#9;<li>Valid Mass Driverâs License with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience, and excellent driving record
</ul>

<br>PREFERRED<br> 

<ul>
&#9;<li>Undergraduate Degree in a related field (i.e. social work, psychology, education, nursing)
&#9;<li>Bi-lingual â Spanish/English
</ul>
