Transit Ambassador
Job Description
Great Opportunity as a Transit Ambassador!
Pay: $21.74/hr ($22 after 6 months)
Schedule: Must be available weekends, flexible for morning, afternoon, and evening during the week
Overview
Be the face of the station! As a Transit Ambassador, you’ll create a welcoming, high-energy environment while helping riders stay safe and have a great experience every day.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of customer service experience (supervisory a plus)
- Confident communicator who can think on their feet
- Positive, outgoing personality—you enjoy engaging with people
- Ability to handle challenges independently
- Team player with a flexible, “jump in and help” attitude
What You’ll Do
- Greet riders and provide directions, fare info, and general assistance
- Proactively help anyone who looks like they need support
- Keep a strong, visible presence to promote safety and awareness
- Monitor station conditions and report or address issues
- Respond to situations calmly and follow established protocols
- Work across different locations and conditions (indoor/outdoor)
