Program Assistant
Job Description

This role puts you at the heart of a residential community where your presence, professionalism, and compassion truly matter. As a Program Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring a respectful, secure, and supportive environment for tenants, staff, and visitors.
Location: Dorchester, MA
Hours: Wednesday-Monday, 4pm-12:30am
Pay: $21-23/hour
Duration: temporary, about 6 months

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, staff, and visitors
- Monitor building access and enforce visitor and safety policies
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergency situations
- Support crisis intervention efforts using de-escalation techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation while protecting tenant confidentiality
- Collaborate with onsite staff to promote a safe, welcoming environment
Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience in security or residential services
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to remain calm, respectful, and professional in high-pressure situations
