About the Role We are seeking detail-oriented and professional Customer Service Representatives to support our Pharmacy Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare providers—including doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies—to ensure prescription coverage accuracy for patients under BCBSMA insurance plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review inbound fax requests from healthcare providers regarding prescriptions
- Verify completeness and accuracy of patient, provider, and medication information
- Follow up with providers to obtain missing or unclear details
- Enter and process information in internal systems to determine prescription approval or denial
- Transition to handling inbound calls after initial training (20–45 calls per day)
- Maintain professionalism and accuracy in all communications and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience (call center experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Excellent verbal communication and professionalism
- Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and learning new tools
- High school diploma or GED required
Work Environment & Requirements
- Onsite training required for the first 4 weeks in Hingham, MA
- Primarily remote after training, with one onsite day per month for team activities
- Company-provided equipment (laptop, monitors, headset, etc.)
- Must have a wired (ethernet) internet connection (WiFi not permitted)
- Quiet, private workspace required due to sensitive information handling
Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (criminal, employment, and education verification)
- Employment history must be accurate and verifiable for the past 3 years
- Willingness to disclose prior employment with BCBSMA or affiliated organizations (if applicable)
