Patient Care Coordinator
Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join their healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and customer service support to patients in a medical office setting.
Location: Boston, MA
Salary: $20-25/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Process insurance claims and verify coverage details
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience in a dental or medical office setting
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
