Job Description
Be the First Smile Patients See—Join Our Client's Team as a Patient Access Representative!
Our client is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to provide exceptional front-line support for our patients and care teams. As the first point of contact, whether in person or by phone, you’ll help ensure every visit starts off smoothly and positively.
Location: Mattapan, MA
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8am-4:45pm, Friday: 8:30am-5:15pm
Pay: $20-23/hour
Duration: temporary to hire
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with warmth and professionalism upon arrival or by phone.
- Register patients accurately in the system, verifying insurance and demographic information.
- Schedule appointments and process copayments.
- Verify insurance coverage and ensure claims can be processed correctly.
- Support front desk and switchboard operations as needed to keep things running smoothly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (2+ years in a healthcare setting preferred).
- Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical record systems.
- Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly preferred.
