Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Human Resources Specialist to support their HR Manager and leadership team in driving engagement, promoting accountability, and ensuring compliance across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on employee relations, professional development, and organizational success.
Location: Boston, MA
Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: $70,000-75,000/year
Duration: direct hire!
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and document thorough employee investigations with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Build strong relationships by engaging directly with employees and supervisors to promote trust, morale, and open communication.
  • Monitor and analyze attendance and performance trends, partnering with supervisors to maintain consistency and reliability.
  • Support compliance with labor laws, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements while minimizing risk.
  • Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, employee coaching, and HR training initiatives.
  • Maintain organized HR records and generate reports that highlight program effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of human resources experience, preferably with a focus on employee relations or compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and relationship building.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
