Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Ambassador to join the team for our client. As the friendly face at the 'T' stations, you will play a vital role in assisting riders with directions, purchasing tickets, and ensuring a safe and positive experience for all passengers.
Your presence will help keep the stations running smoothly, providing important safety information while also brightening people's day!
- Location:Â Various MBTA Stations
- Pay:Â $21.74/hour
- Duration:Â temporary, 6+ months
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:05 AM
- Must be flexible to work both shifts and weekends
- Paid training required during weekdays.
Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers with directions, ticket purchases, and general inquiries.
- Maintain a visible presence at station entrances, greeting passengers and ensuring their safety.
- Represent the MBTAÂ as the face of the transit system in various locations.
- Monitor the station environment, helping create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for riders.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable with drug testing, including marijuana testing, as per MBTA’s zero-tolerance policy.
- Customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and weekday paid training.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and meet MBTA's safety standards.
