Looking for a Program Coordinator with research experience, who is comfortable with technology and has solid writing and basic administrative skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Supervising, performing and overseeing administrative functions of the department, including maintenance and monitoring budgets
  • Selecting, training, supervising and evaluating  work of support services personnel
  • Analyzing, evaluating and preparing recommendations to enhance efficiency of operations
  • Coordinating activities and daily operations of a program
  • Assisting in the development of new program goals and objectives
  • Assisting in preparation of proposal for funding
  • Conferring with staff to provide technical advice and answers to questions
  • Preparing periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports
  • Evaluation of program effectiveness to develop improved methods
  • Reviewing applications and other program documents to determine acceptance
  • Assisting in the coordination of recruitment efforts
  • Assisting with written communication and promotional literature
  • Planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinating logistics, scheduling and participant communications
  • Maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives
  • Supervising  staff
 
Requirements:
  • Associate' s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, Bachelor' s degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
