The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Assistant is to support the Vice President of Human Resources. This high-exposure role provides a wide range of support activities keeps the team organized and delivers superior administrative service. We are looking for someone articulate, smart, and polished with a high level of skill. Responsibilities include coordinating executive level recruitment, event, and program management, as well as other strategic and high visibility efforts. This role will also support Human Resource Communications such as providing content on the firm’ s Corporate Intranet, creating Human Resource content for the company newsletter, and maintaining external career sites with up to date content related to the company brand.   Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the VP of HR and HR Team
  • Mail Distribution, Faxing, file scanning, and photocopying
  • Heavy calendar management for both the VP of HR and HR team members
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, department meetings, conference rooms, and catering services
  • Organization of large scale company events
  • Maintain and update HR’ s internal site
  • Prepare expense reports and documentation for HR meetings
  • Coordination and approval of HR documents
  • Reception desk coverage during lunch on a rotational basis
  • Manage employee life changing events (sending flowers, baskets, etc.)
  Requirements
  • Bachelor’ s degree
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Must be highly polished and articulate with superior written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Calendar management
    Knowledge of SharePoint and Publisher is a plus
  • Strong time management, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgment and discretion, exuding the highest level of professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to enthusiastically support a team
  • High energy, resourcefulness, and assertiveness
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work extended hours
