A help desk technician works to resolve various issues related to technology implemented operations. In an open and high energy environment, you will provide technical support and customer service, diagnosing problems and guiding users through step-by- step solutions. You will assist with technical solutions, in a user-friendly, professional manner and provide one-on-one end-user training as needed.   Responsibilities: Problem resolution for users of personal computer software/hardware and printers Troubleshooting issues with mainframe, e-mail, internet and local-area network access problems Deliver technical support over the phone in a call center environment One-on-one problem resolution for business approved software Configuration of PC desktop hardware, software and peripherals Coordinating repairs of equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements Assists Technicians in creating materials for user FAQ’ s Read, understand and apply complex technical information and master new technology Maintain cooperative working relationships Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for a diverse population   Requirements: College graduate or Microsoft Certified Professional 2+ years providing phone support for PC desktop and application software 1 year troubleshooting personal computers in a network environment Working knowledge of Desktop operating systems, software applications and basic PC hardware Practical understanding of network systems and Internet technologies   Qualified and interested applicants should e-mail their resume in Word format to
