HR Generalist

This newly created position will be an integral part of the Human Resources team! Candidate must demonstrate effective development abilities such as coaching, facilitating interventions and superior change management skills.   Essential Functions:
  • Partner with senior management on all aspects or human resources
  • Administration of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws
  • Manage and coordinate all leave laws (FMLA, LTD, ADA, Military, Sick leave)
  • Monitors performance evaluation and disciplinary processes
  • Handles conflict resolution and management training
  • Investigate employee claims and employment related legal issues
  • Responsible for recruiting strategy and talent management processes
  • Implement and update compensation program and job descriptions
  • Updates and maintains employee handbook
  • Communicates benefit information during the open enrollment period
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of all aspects of HR
  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years experience in HR leadership role
  • Proficiency with ADP HR and payroll software
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills
  • Comprehension of leave management laws
