A non-profit organization is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support their Executive Administrator. Utilizing research, intervention, training, and advocacy, this organization is dedicated to promoting and providing for the mental health of children. Serving as a strong voice and active resource, this organization provides life changing programs and services that improve the mental health of children. Proving support in a capacity that is strictly administrative will be the prime responsibility in this position. In order to positively represent the organization and its cause, the need someone who can maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a highly visible environment. Must be polished, resourceful, and effective at multitasking.   Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate meetings and taking minutes
  • Research bios of keynote speakers for the President to review
  • Facilitate local travel arrangements (Route, directions, parking, etc.)
  • Order office supplies and handle catering
  • Screen and transfer phone calls
  • Other administrative tasks as needed
  Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 3 – 5 years’ administrative experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively accommodate the needs of Executives and staff
